Once it's all put together, adjusting it is a no-go. It's super sturdy and feels safe, no doubt about that, but taking it apart? Forget it. There ain't any helpful instructions or videos online without a bunch of pesky ads popping up every few seconds.

I had to get this product due to my hyperactive toddler, and I gotta say, I'm really impressed. The customer service from this company is the best I've ever encountered. They pay attention to every little detail when responding to you.

I'm giving it a 5-star rating and definitely recommend it.

I gotta say, BabyDan really knows how to take care of their customers! I reached out to their support team because one of the gate clips had snapped, and they got back to me in less than a day. They quickly offered to ship a replacement part straight to our place in the Netherlands. The whole process was smooth and just a nice experience overall.

As foster carers, we’ve got four Baby Dan stair gates. They’ve become a staple for us, year after year. We’ve never faced any issues with them, and honestly, we wouldn’t consider any other brand for stair gates.

We damaged a bracket for our stairgate, totally our mistake. Babydan's customer service was fantastic; I inquired about where to get a new one, and their first response was to send us a free bracket (no shipping fees either!).

It arrived in about a week, and now our gate is all set up again.

Awesome item - I bought a couple of these for the top and bottom of my stairs.

My wife and I picked up a couple of baby dan safety gates to keep hazardous spots safe in our place and at the grandparents' too. They're really easy to install and function like a charm.

We purchased a couple of the retractable Baby Dan Gates from Amazon. They’re an awesome idea and function really well. We wanted to get another mount since our landing is narrow and figured we could switch the gate around. We reached out to Customer Services and had a fantastic experience with John. His responses were prompt, and he managed to resolve our problem right away. I’d totally recommend this.

My experience with BabyDan's service and their products has been quite different. After an incident involving the BabyDan Premier (which wasn't caused by the stair gate, but rather the balustrade that shifts a bit when a certain weight is applied), I decided to reach out to BabyDan. I wasn't trying to bash the product; I just wanted to highlight that putting a stair gate on a balustrade can be a bit risky.

The very next day, I got a response from BabyDan, and they really understood my concerns. Even though the mishap wasn't their fault, they still offered a lovely gesture... They proposed to send me a replacement, complete with mounting materials for a balustrade and a little gift for my son who was part of the incident.

In my opinion, BabyDan's products are of higher quality compared to other brands we've tried. Overall, I think BabyDan has handled this situation very well. I’ve got nothing but good things to say!

The quality is really lacking. I'm pretty sure it was manufactured in China or PRC. IKEA items are way better than what Baby Dan offers. They charge high prices for subpar quality. Seriously, steer clear of Baby Dan products. Do some research online first. You can find cheaper alternatives on eBay too.

A while back, I purchased a Baby Dan Lotta playpen, and when it arrived, I was really disappointed. It seemed so poorly constructed that I hesitated to use it for a child. I reached out to Baby Dan's customer support to check if I had received a counterfeit from China or if there was an issue with my unit, as both the paint job was subpar and the base wouldn’t stay in a stable position. The response I got from their Danish support was baffling; they claimed they didn’t grasp my concerns and mentioned they were too busy, saying something like 'time is money' to me.
The local store was fantastic and accepted the return.
Now, I’ve got two Park-a-kid playpens from Baby Dan that were gifts, and both are now broken. One of the doors just fell off, and all the plastic locks are shattered. It started with one crack, then another appeared.
The other playpen has cracks too.
In short, I wouldn’t suggest Baby Dan products to anyone, nor would I recommend their customer service.
